Can someone help me restore the sound on my Dell 4600? I'm running XP SP3 and using a SB Audigy 2. I was having problems, so I went to the Creative Labs website to get the current version of the drivers. After I installed, the sound was gone. I checked all the connections and looked at the System and it says that it's working. I tried rolling back the driver and Uninstalling, but still no sound. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Creative cards are so goofy you might have to physically reseat it again.
Also when updating drivers i would use driversweeper and completely remove all previous files.
Start in safemode
Checkoff Creative
Click purge
Restart normal
install latest drivers.

Driver Sweeper did the trick! I won't be trying the latest Drivers; they're not signed and that's what messed things up in the first place. Excellent save, thanks.

Good to here i'm glad i could help!
Driversweeper works like a charm for graphics too!
