Hello,
what is the Deference between the 32nonometers and 45nonmeters

32nm means that the die shrinked from 45nm. this basically means that there will be more cache, faster clocks, less heat.it also tends to occur that the smaller dies are cheaper to manufacture, and that more cores can fit on them, but its complicated with the core thing...basically its just better, but not yet, its too new to have good cpus with it.

To elaborate on what ares said, its how close together the manufactures can place the transistors together. So for the same piece of silicon, they can make more chips and thats where the cost savings comes in.

As for the chips themselves, the closer they are, the less power they need. Less power means less heat, so you can actually push the parts harder and get faster speeds without needing more power than the older chips.
