30% faster than a TitanX, overclocks past 2Ghz, has a 180w TDP and costs $599. Color me impressed. My 980 Ti is now obsolete.

the pricing seems like a great value as well. wonder what the big brands are gonna do with this. can't wait to see a msi gaming, asus strix, evga ftw and the other high end cards. they gonna be mind blowing power for the money.

amd got a lot to do with polaris to stay with these gpu's!! sure hope they up to the task cause the challenge has been thrown down

pretty well answers the "add a second 970 or go with pascal?"

seems like a single 1070 gonna beat out 970 sli for similar cash as a single 970 costs.

for real the 1070 really packs a punch for its cost.

I'm glad I loaded up on 65k worth of NVDA stock this afternoon instead of AMD. 😀 It's gonna make my next GPU upgrade free

If AMD doesn't respond by may 27 looks like I'm upgrading to a pair of 1080s.

From what I see, the special looking cooler, the one with sharp edges, the one shown on the live stream is the founder edition. The rest will have the similar old coolers.

All he said was that they overclock like crazy. I'm wondering, for $700, if they're finally offering more of a custom design with upgraded components and a new cooler.

yep that what i was thinking specially with a gtx 980 ti waiting in my amazon cart so glad i didn't order it

any news about the lift of the NDA? can anybody refresh us how GPu releases used to work? i mean did the reviews came in days after the announcement or months? can't recall.

but damn, i wish they stuck hbm2 on these new cards.
