I would guess the 1060 to be above the 480 in price and performance just as if not it leaves a huge pricing gap between it and the 1070 even with a ti to fill it its still a big gap. But matbe by the end of the year when Vegas out the 1070 will come down.

finally, a decent evga 1070 SC review. compares it to the gaming x and shows out of the box the MSI card is a good bit better, but once oc'ed, they match pretty close.

this is what i am expecting from the 1070 cards. a bit of difference out of the box but once oc'ed they should all pretty much even out. it's worth noting here that the evga card uses the standard 4+1 phases and the msi has a 10 phase set-up. yet they oc the and perform the same.

Does anyone else think this might be a problem.
"TSMC is reportedly having trouble producing the 16nm FinFET chips that power the Pascal GPUs in the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070, Mobipicker has learned."

If they are struggling to make the chip, then the cards could be buggy.

And for a "spyshot", the quality, light and angles of the picture let you take it in all it's plastic glory without giving away anything else other than "it's coming!", haha.

Yeah, I'm calling a "let's rain on AMD's parade" from the nVidia PR department.

Still, interesting to see the size and dimensions of it.

Cheers!

Probably should save this for the AMD speculation thread but the 480 isn't a world beater. ( Assuming this is legit. Videocardz posted it. )

Metro Last Light and The Witcher 3 are both titles AMD does well in traditionally.

Oh boy, prepare for your hopes to be dashed. The GTX x60 GPUs outrank the GTX x70s on steam's hardware thingy. So prepare for an even worse "out of stock" crisis.

Oh really? Man I'm behind the times LOL. I keep remembering the GTX 660 as the #1 card, but that was years ago.

Well that's been one of the issues with AMDs "strategy" to conquer the mainstream market. The majority of the growth has been in the high-end segment. The mainstream market has been shrinking along with the rest of the general PC market. I still think it's less of a strategy than it is a capitulation.
