Question Nvidia GTX 1050 let me use more FPS than the monitor's refresh rate and the GTX 1660 does not?!

Hello! I bought a new gaming computer today and installed Fortnite just to finally come to the conclusion that unlike my last computer's settings, I am only able to play the game without the computer's fans running and the CPU percentage shooting up to 100% when I have my FPS number under my monitor's refresh rate number. My last computer was able to run to unlimited FPS with my monitor. There must be a way to fix this issue, it is extremely hard to play on low FPS for me. Here are both PC's specs:

The old PC:
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050
CPU Processor: Intel i7-3770
RAM: 16GB

The new PC:
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660
CPU Precessor: Intel i5-9400F
RAM: 16GB


MONITOR REFRESH RATE IS 75hz

Full system specs along with make and model of PSU would be better.

Do you maybe have Vsync on?

Look if you can turn vsync off, and scan your pc for malware.
