ZZF was your best bet. They went to out of stock in 3 days. TigerDirect had them, but they are sold out too they dont even show themself.

I think you will just have to go with the 7900GS w/ HDCP which is a good choice or the 7900 GT KO. They have good prices on ZZF and TigerDirect. Also the 7950 GT is a good choice if you need power.
 
By the way is this a world record post? we have 48 pages and we keep going! :)
Thx for mentioning it. By the way, I want to ask those of you who bought the Premium board, how was your experience? Is everything going good now? what are your 3dmark scores? perfomance?
 
Wow, I went through every single case and didn't find one I liked 🙁 Or atleast within a reasonable $100-130 price range. I'm spending so much on everthing else, that the case is where I'm going cheap lol. Naw, really I just want something with big fans (most cases that show 250mm size fans are actually 220mm. I measured the one that I got that said 250mm :? ) and a nice layout inside. Like, having the psu at the bottom of the case, what the heck?
 
Like you know now companies make "better looking" cases to sell more and make them unique in their class.

Having the PSU at the bottom instead of the upper side is one of their "great" ideas. But not everybody likes to change the tradition 😉
 
I have seen reports where they talk about the PSU at the bottum helping air flow... Seems to me heat rises and the case would heat up more! Ahhh but what do I know! LOL
 
This is one of the reasons I like my all aluminum case. Not only does the alumunim help to displace heat, but this case has a fan on top center of case so you have that one and power supply to remove top heat in the case.

Think scarletspider was asking why lian li cases were highly sought after. Plus the construction and just performace has always been up there. Easy to install, has alot of different configurations.

Still looking for a good battery backup if any ideas are out there?

Lol, that's it. APC; I couldn't remember what the brand was. Yes, I was wondering why Lian Li are so expensive. For the same price you can get full tower cases that are a little wider, and include a water cooling system. Am I the only one who thinks their prices are rediculous? Any full tower is going to be roomy, btw.

Besides that, I actually changed my mind about the A380. The side window just seems too brittle, and I'm going to be taking my computer to my friend's house often. Instead, I went with the GIGABYTE GZ-FA1CA-ASB (Black) instead. Here it is on newegg. I like the rather simplistic design, and lack of any gaudy platic "chrome" or metal. Comes with 2 side windows, 2 x 120mm exhaust fans, another in front w/filter (although I will be taking it out), and plenty of room to cut out a blowhole and mount another there. Also, if UPS doesn't ever come and pick up the A380, I might just take out the front 220mm fan and put it in the window of the gigabyte. And because I will not be using more than 2 hdds, I'll cut out the trays that hold the extra slots and free up the air movement from the front fan. Other than that, I like this case.

Thanks God! (I know this is the second time I say this but I never thought the 590 was gonna be a disaster 😛) Finally after 2 months of waiting the board that I was waiting for is officially announced!

Have all my parts ready to be shipped once this comes in. Hoping newegg is one of the first as my wishlist is ready for processing. I haven't been this excited for a long time.

I decided to stick with a directx9 system as not a fan of the newest greatest trend that is not set in which direction it will go. Perhaps mid year or end I will reselect graphic cards.

Well.....Pictures of them are making an appearance at least. You would thik if they were a week away from being released company websites would have something about them or retailers would have some sort of pre-order thing setup!! Sighhh!! I hope I'm wrong!
 
No downsides, only upsides. They guarantee you that you are getting the best of the best for now.

Just to let you know guys, I changed the title. Looks better dont ya think? Any recommendations will be accepted.
