Here's my last off-topic post. I need a recommendation for a reliable power supply for an Asus Striker Extreme, an Intel X6800 or QX6700, and two 8800GTX cards. I've done little to no research on power supplies, so I just need some advice. Thanks for the help, and sorry for leaving the topic again.

BFG looks like is your best option. They make videocards so why not try their OWN psu?
4 Rails, 4 PCI-E connectors, 6 SATA (I think), 8 4-pin connectors... etc

What else you want? A nuclear plant on top of you case?

ZZF is listing them at $299.

I don't know what the deal is with some people and ZZF...they always seem to be higher than other places!
Newegg is cool, they have some good deals!

Or get the ASUS version and reputation for the same price without having to screw around with those insane Compusa rebates! LOL
Granted...the ASUS version isn't in stock anywhere. I only posted that link up there to show people the price. That's the BEST price I have seen the non striker ASUS 680i version board for as of yet!

Comp USA has the even cheaper BFG version of this board. Get it while it's hot. I believe the majority of these boards, besides the ASUS boards, are made by FoxConn using the nVidia reference design and are simply slapped with the label of whatever company is selling them. It also comes with the game Ghost Recon on DVD. Sounds like a smoking hot deal to me.

Off topic a little, but I'm caught at a crossroad. I now have just enough to get the last four things I need; cpu, memory, dvd drive, and hdd. Should I.. wait for my next paycheck to come in before buying them and see what deals I can get on BF, which I'm working 6am-5pm :x , or just say screw it all and buy them tomorrow to have them Friday on my day off. Buying them on a friday will also throw off the shipping and probably come on a wednesday, when no one will be home.. :? It seems like it will be more of a hassle to wait and find a good deal. What do you think?

I'd buy now. Just me, you'll be able to enjoy your PC during the Holidays if you get time off! LOL

Also...what's BF??

Ohhh, stupid me!! Black Friday! I gotcha now!

Hmm, I think I'll just get everything now. Just in case something doesn't work, like the memory or whatever, I'll have plenty of time to rma and still have it by the Christmas break. Hmmm, I should also start to see where my new case is going to go.. Maybe right next to my hdtv?? Oh yeah.. 8)
