Because that's where the Tom's Hardware news staff gets their news from. The news team does basically no investigative reporting of their own, and most of what they publish is taken from other tech news sites.

all it means is the 680 is coming "some time soon' to a store near you NV dropped the ball on the 680 production and they are just trying to get you to wait for another shipment and not go the AMD line.
