[SOLVED] NVMe configuration

I just got a Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVMe SSD and installed it in my machine, replacing 2 older SSDs in RAID0

The new drive is functioning, and I installed Win 10 on it with no issues.

I have an ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero motherboard.

I notice in the BIOS there is an NVME coinfiguration section, but when I go in there it says no NVMe drives detected - why is this? Does it matter? The motherboard has 2 M.2 slots, should I try installing the SSD in the other slot to see if NVMe can be detected then?

I ran AS SSD Benchmark and got overall score of 5104 - is this good? If NVMe was configured in the mobo BIOS would the score be higher?

Your sequential reads should be around the 3000 mark with the writes be around the same, is that what you are roughly getting when running AS SSD Benchmark?

Roughly yes:

Read - 2964.74
Write - 2619.80

Then you are more than fine and are getting the right speed from the NVMe drive...no issues at all..
