I haven't read a single post here yet, but I'm stoked that there's a
Usenet group for Halo!!!

I've been reading the bungie.net forums, because I only recently got
on XBox Live and love it so much I want to read about it and talk
about it whenever I'm not PLAYING it. But there are SO many posts
there, and no search function whatsoever to help you keep up with the
threads you're involved in or interested in so if you don't read every
few hours you're likely to lose them.

But this...this is something I'm infinitely familiar with, and I look
forward to the discussions here.

Plus Usenet tends to be just a tad bit more...err...literate than the
Web.

It was quite busy when 2 was released, but its tapered down now to a
constant dribble.
