Question Only one computer can't play specific multiplayer games

I am on a university network and my computer is the only one that cannot play some multiplayer games (red dead redemption, speedrunners, and halo reach). I can start up the games, and even connect to the internet on them, but once I start matchmaking it goes on forever and will not connect to other players. My computer is the only computer on the floor with this problem, and even my laptop can play those games' multiplayer just fine on the same network. This must be some problem with my computer itself, right? How do I fix this so I can play these games with my friends?

I should add this is not the case with all games, just these so far.

My first suggestion would be to look over your firewall settings. Your firewall may be blocking the game application from communicating with the game server.

I have tried this. I have even turned off the firewall completely. Didn't work.
