Hi,
It would be easier to follow this thread if you had replied to my message in
the original thread, but...
To enable viewing of Hidden files:
Start Button> Settings> Control Panel> Folder Options.
Click on the View tab and select "View hidden files abd folders"

To rename your HOSTS file...
Double-click My Computer
Double-click Local Disk (C)
Double-click Windows
Double-click System 32
Double-click Drivers
Double-click etc
Right-click HOSTS and choose Rename
Rename HOSTS to HOSTS.OLD
Close that window

Revisit the web pages which weren't displaying everything. Is all content
now being displayed?
