Not sure if this is the right place - it's gaming but mac! Sorry if not.
My OH plays stuff like Sims, SimCity via origin on her macbook air. Periodically, the game just refuses to load. We hit play, the origin software minimizes, then a few seconds later it pops back up as if nothing happened. No error message or anything but it'll do that every time. Alternatively, the game loads and then crashes a few seconds in.
It has worked fine in the past, but then does this from time to time. We've tried reinstalling both origin and game, clearing the cache, running Origin's repair tool, running first aid in diskdiag. Macbook has no other known issues.
It's starting to get silly because every time we go through this, it deletes all saved game progress.
Anyone able to help? Replies to similar threads on Origin forum are not helpful. Cheers
