I recently noticed that my gpu temps were really high and thermal throttling my pc so l decided to repaste it aswell as the cpu at the same time.

After I reposted I made sure everything was connected properly such as the pole cables the fans but when I turn the po on it's beeps 5 times and doesn't show a display

I tried to isolate the issue so l disconnected the gou and tried to turn it on and it does turn on but instantly crashes into automatic repair

So I tried to reseat the ram and also tried with one stick, I reset the cmos twice and no luck, I made sure the CPU fan was connected and it is and is running. I'm really confused as I didn't even take the CPU out for it to be doing this, I reposted both the cpu and gpu 2 times now as that's what worked for others and still nothing

I know there is power to the cpu and as the pc turns on and the cooler lights and fans are working fine. I've tried different tightness of the coolers to make sure it wasn't that.

Does anyone wiser than me know what's going wrong?

the automatic repair might come up after power outage which you did manually while gpu was not showing a picture.
try repairing windows with a windows boot stick

check again all power cables
did you unplug any sata data cables? if the boot drive is an sata and you switched the cable on the motherboard to a different port, it might not boot

can you get into bios?

I’m not sure how to repair windows with a boot stick I have a laptop I could try downloading that program from

There was a cable directly next to the ram sticks I had to unplug to reseat the ram, although I did plug it directly back where it originally was plugged, I’m not sure what that cable is as I bought this pc second hand

I am able to get into bios from the blue screen as it gives a few options

is the CPU correctly recognized by the BIOS? frequency and name?
which blue screen is it?

use the microsoft windows media creation tool to create a windows boot stick and try repairing your windows
The beeping has stopped and I’ve just checked the bios the cpu is recognised completely fine, the name and clock is all good and temp is 31, the cpu fan and the gpu fan is running fine aswell, I’m thinking it has to be software maybe now

The blue screen is an automatic message saying windows has detected a problem and then starts an automatic repair, the repair fails and then it gives me the option of restarting or going into advanced option

I’ll try the windows boot stick to see if that works
