Question pc powers on but no display. power button won't turn off.

it was working fine, using APU. I tried to put a GPU in just for a test but it didn't work, so I removed it and when I turned it on the PC didn't boot anymore. the PC turns on, everything works, fans spinning (no beeps) and the power button doesn't turn off. I've tested 3 different monitors, HDMI port, 2 different RAM, CLR CMOS, different power supplies and nothing seems to work. I do not know what to do

include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
