PC Specs
CPU: i5-12400F
Mobo: Gigabyte h610 DSH
RAM: 16GBX2 DDR4 3200MHz XPG Adata
GPU: INNO3D 3060ti
PSU: Corsair RM850
Storage : 500GB Corsair P3 NVMe, WD 2TB HDD
OS: Windows 11

The issue is like once I start the system, it gets stuck. sometimes display goes off, gpu fans stop spinning, or sometimes display stays ON. This can happen randomly at any time. it can happen at the BIOS screen, it can happen while loading OS, it can happen once system is in the OS and i am doing something or nothing at all. Have run multiple stress tests. sometimes all testes run smoothly. sometimes this issue again occurs. I am not sure what is happening.

Also one thing i noticed is, if I am running Furmark, when I toggle between background and the furry object like quickly, display goes off.

In all cases, the system stays ON.

then when I restart, i get 5 short beeps. then again when I turn off and turn ON, system boots and the getting stuck scenario happens again.

Can someone please help me.

I have removed all the components, cleaned, repasted the CPU and GPU, temperatures are all minimum so there is no overheating at all. I have good power through UPS APC 1100VA.

Looks like failing GPU.

Test with 2nd, known to work GPU.

Since you have F-suffix CPU, your CPU doesn't have iGPU in it. Meaning that dedicated GPU is a must.

Original RM-series? Or RMe, RMi, RMx?
Also what year did you buy the PSU and was it brand new or used/refurbished?
its plain RM850. I bought it in 2022.

its plain RM850.
You then most likely have the 2021 version, rather than 2019 version. But the version matter little, since both versions are of same build quality.
Now, build quality wise, your PSU is between mediocre and good quality. Tier B+. Not the best, but not that bad either.

PSU tier list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...JWkc/edit?pli=1&gid=1973454078#gid=1973454078

However, it still is a possibility that your PSU is at fault, partly.
Symptoms show failing GPU. So, to validate that, do test with 2nd, known to work GPU. Especially due to this:
if I am running Furmark, when I toggle between background and the furry object like quickly, display goes off.

As far as PSU goes, it could be, that your PSU (for whatever reason), damaged your GPU over time, causing it to now act up. IF the issue is with GPU that is.

You can RMA your PSU if you like (it has 10 year warranty) but i, personally, would go with better build quality unit. For proper PSU for gaming rig, Tier A is proper. Like: Seasonic Focus/Vertex/PRIME, Corsair RMx/RMi/HXi/AXi, Super Flower Leadex Gold/Platinum/Titanium.
Tier A- will do too, while Tier A+ is preferred. (Look the PSU tier list i linked above.)

(My 3x PCs are solely powered by Tier A PSUs. Namely, i have Seasonic PRIME 650 Titanium (Tier A+), Seasonic PRIME Ultra 650 Titanium (Tier A+) and Seasonic Focus PX-550 (Tier A). Full specs with pics in my sig.)

If you do not have spare GPU to borrow/at hand, one option is hauling entire PC to PC repair shop and pay for diagnostics. They have the means to test individual components with compatible system, to see exactly which hardware components are acting up.

Sometimes it turns on..there is no beep code, no display just stays on. no keyboard or mouse lights up. one time I got four short and one long never ending beep. had to turn off as the 5th beep would not stop at all
