[SOLVED] PC suddenly gets low fps and isnt getting hot anymore

I went on holiday for 3 days and i came back and started playing as usual and my pc is getting low fps in rainbow six siege like 60-70 fps when it used to get 120 etc
it also isnt getting very hot anymore when it used to get fairly hot
Intel core i3 7700 3.9ghz
gtx 1060 6gb
8gb ram
1tb hdd

i3 7100 or i7 7700
Check your bios, maybe the cpu isn't changing speeds correctly via speedstep. I'd change the settings back to default and reset xmp as well.
