Run ubm like this.

Reboot.
Wait a few mins.
Run ubm with the browser closed.
Post a LINK to the results page.

You should verify that you have the RAM in the correct slots. The RAM performance, even at 2133 is poor. That usually indicates that the RAM is in the wrong slots. Check your user manual for RAM placement recommendation.

the rams are correctly installed, it is in duo channel so i put them in slot 2 and slot 4.

i did e clean boot that i seen from here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd
waited a couple of minutes and then run the test
I'm seeing the same high background thing.

Don't know when it started as I have not run ubm in many months.

One of these days I'll get around to chasing it...might be a ubm problem.

Look in task scheduler and see what's running.

Going in a different direction check your cpu temp.

Post a screenshot from crystal disk info for the ssd.

Both of you tests show 79-84% background processor usage.
Something is running.
Download and run Malware Bytes.
https://try.malwarebytes.com/free-d...MIn9aNv_rQ-wIVmBfUAR25xQuDEAAYAiAAEgLGa_D_BwE
Next
open task manager and go to "Start up "tab
Turn off all game launchers, discord, up-daters, office, Steam or whatever is not needed. They will start when you launch the program. Might have to wait a second or 2 longer for the program to start.
Check you computer for dust or a lose heatsink. Your processor is not boosting to max speed.

so its the cpu that is underperforming the most right? should i check the temps when in idle or in games? and for how long should i check?
thanks very much for the help ill check everything you told me to in a couple of hours and ill keep you updated

so i turned off everything running in the background https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/57008679
my computer doesnt have any dust because i cleaned it 2 weeks ago , cpu temps are around 30 celsius when idle and when gaming temps are around 45 (max 50)

Your background usage has gotten better but it it still not good. You should have less than 10% background usage. There is still SOMETHING using excessive CPU that you need to identify.

Have you ran malware bytes yet?
Could be malware, a miner, hijacked DDOS bot, any number of things. Could be on either disk.
So a windows install may not remove it if it is on your hard drive.
yes i run malwarebytes and found only two possible dangers/viruses i removed them but it didnt change something so there are 2 possibilities 1. there are more viruses etc that the program cant find and restrict and 2. tha i didnt have any dangerous programs or files from the beginning. i think it may be the windows because i have done re-installetion of windows a couple of times in the past 2 years without formating any disk. if i format ill format both disks and ill keep my personal files in an external hard drive but there are mostly files from university and things like that, not even programs so ill check that out in a couple of days from now. If you have any more suggestions keep me updated. and thank you for the help in my adventure so far .

Is xmp/dochp enabled, are you running the correct gear ratio if Intel?
Check for bloatware running in the background, and look up ways to improve efficiency in your bios and on windows.
Is your ram in the second from the left and furthest to the right slots?
Are you running an eco mode in windows, the bios or psu?
Were you playing multiplayer vs single player?
Did you put your ssd or hdd in the correct and most efficient spot?
is your storage almost full?
Check all that and then we’d have to start looking at temps.

i dont have xmp open , i dont know what you mean with running the correct gear ratio if Intel explain some more to understand
i dont have bloatware
Ram is correctly install for dual channel
i dont run any eco mode
multiplayer/single its the same thing games that i used to play with good fps now i get almost half of the fps
yes the hdd and sdd are in the correct priority ports in the motherboard
storage has a lot of gbs in both of my ssd and hdd

Ubm says something is not right.

It can be tough to find the something.

Run the passmark suite of test and see if something shows.
