Hi, this is my first time posting here as I am getting desperate:

I built this PC 6 months ago and so far had no issues, today I was cleaning it, and after I tried booting it again, I was getting motherboard beeps: 1 long, 3 short, and then 1 short after a brief pause. I tried reconnecting a bunch of different cables and reseating my GPU and RAM.

Booted it again and now it’s giving me one short beep followed by a long pause and then another short beep, I still can not boot it. I have tried everything and do not know what else I can do .

Can anyone advise me as to what the issue is and how I could solve this?

Here are my specs:

Motherboard: ASUS Prime B550 M-A WiFi
CPU : Ryzen 5600x
GPU: Geforce GTX 1650
SSD: Samsung NVMe 980 1 TB
PSU: ASUS Prime 750W 80+ gold
RAM: XPG Spectrix D50 DDR4 RGB Memory

Getting quite desperate so any help would be very appreciated. Thank you!

Based on Asus speaker beep definitions, this means your GPU (or monitor) is toast;
Asus debug list: https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1029959/

now it’s giving me one short beep followed by a long pause and then another short beep
One short beep = system boots normally. But when monitor (or GPU) is toast, you won't see any image.

So, try with 2nd, known to work GPU and monitor. It doesn't hurt trying other display output ports and even different display cable (HDMI or DP).
