I have an ECS GS7610 Board, it is fiited with a PCI express 16x slot. Is it possible to fit a card made for a PCIexpress-1 slot. I'm hoping to fit an expansion board to give me extra SATA ports. Would someone point me in the right direction

If you want to put a card for PCI 1x in the PCI 16x you are out of luck.
