40-60 frames in Dalaran is perfectly fine to be honest. Actually anything over 20 in Dalaran is doing good. I really wouldn't worry about it too much, you have a great setup there.

I think it might be time for you to get a new monitor though buddy, once you go wide screen you never want to go back ; )
 
Yea but if he gets a bigger monitor, he will need a better GPU or else it will bottleneck... So as far as 1024x768 res goes, he is fine ATM....If he likes playing @ that res then there is no need for an upgrade....
 
A 9800gt shouldn't have that much of an issue with WoW at 1440x900 or 1680x1050? I ran WoW on a 9600gt @ 1680x1050 and it had it's moments but did fine most of the time.

You are 100% correct though, if he is happy with what he has then by all means leave it 8)

I don't know how to post pics, but at my work it was 82924 download and 18219 upload. Yes, i typed that right, 82924 dl.

I work on the University campus as helper IT... net is blazing fast... especially during the summer when there is only a handful of people here.

At home though, 5mg pipe split between 2 people *shrug*
 
Well you guys all have me beat I slave off of someone elses internet connection through a hacked wireless signal. Net tools is awesome........ Hacking is fun!!!!!!!!!
Anyway its so slow I cant get it to finish a bandwidth test.

Go to Photobucket and make an account...> http://photobucket.com/

On the Home Page find...> My Album drop down...click Albums & Upload

Bookmark the Albums & Upload page for fast access to: Upload Images & Video .

On the Upload page click Choose Files this will take you to your My Picture Folder on your computer.

Now that you have a Album, put your cursor over the Picture you want to display in this forum...a menu will appear below it with 4 links [addresses] choose the one on the bottom "IMG Code" Cut then Paste it here in the Text Window. Use the Preview button below/right to view your Picture.

The TAG is your ALBUM, so use the same TAG for a photo or group of photo's to place them in the same Album Folder

Kithzaru: replace the arrows in this IMG Code with brackets [ ] like this & my picture will appear

Why did u change the Brackets for Arrows <IMG> ???

Cut & Paste the "Image Code" as copied try again please :)

Edit: You only need to use the [u]Preview Button[/u] to see if you fail :love:

Next, do you know how to capture a Picture or GIF or anything from your Browser, that you would like to keep ?

Place your cursor over that Eye Ball in the above reply.

Right click, choose "Save Picture as" now put it in your "My Pictures" folder 😍

You can use this also to change your Desktop Background 😱

Right click, choose "Set as Background"...tada you have a new background, be careful with this, because each capture changes the one before it...kind of Overwrites the last one.

If you want to CROP your screen shots like the one bellow, use the Paint program that came with your Operating system.

My friend's brother's school has about 80mb...it's just crazy and they probably don't need it all because all they do is browse...no downloading allowed I think...just crazy...lol 😛
 
I need to setup my router at home... i only have a 5mb down and i will be sitting there doing something then all of a sudden BAM lag... i look over and my GF is sitting there on surfthechannel watching some show and it's killing my connection.

2.5mg for you, 2.5mg for me.. =D harmonious.
 


Wow...a lot of stuff...I'm getting 20mb...but I'm only gonna hook up my xbox and 2 comps to it...

I would say the people in my office gave me an odd look for clapping randomly, but i tend to do strange stuff anyway so they didn't. lol, grats
