please help me fix my processor / ram issues ? what did i do wrong.. did i break any parts when building this new pc i just built this week ? f m l

okay so apparently my water cooler the pump is reading 0 RPM but the fans are reading 1100 and such, does this mean i have a dead pump ? should i ask for a refund / replace the entire cooler, i really am keen to keep the specific pump its easy on the eyes to say the least..

Something is wrong with the cooler if you are still getting those temps.

If the Radiator fans are working the only thing it could be is a bad pump, RMA it back to who you bought it form or hit up NZXT support.

do you recommend a better more reliable water cooler that would work for my new pc. also does this now mean my cpu is no good now or as long as i get a new cooler that works it will work properly finally ? im afraid damage has been done is what im asking.

Your CPU isn't damaged. It throttled itself to prevent damage. Obviously don't turn on your PC without a cooler. NZXT is a really good cooler, doesn't matter if you buy a cheaper cooler or a $300 cooler, everyone has their bad apples.

turns out nzxt tells me if it reads 0rpm its pre much a guaranteed dead pump so in my case dead on arrival, going thru the rma rn, told him i need it fast so im just buying a new one and will then send the old one back and be refunded when they receive it. feelsbadman all along the pump is simply dead.

i put the new cooler in, looking good i think, can any1 take a peak and tell me their opinion? is everything running the way it should be? also it says 13gb of ram free instead of the full 16 why is that ?

That looks much better. You have 13GB free because the system/other open programs are using 3Gb of ram.

As the others say your pump is probably broken. Do you have another cooler on you?
