Question Ps4 to monitor problem

Hi guys,

I am playing on the ps4 slim and i now want to buy a monitor to get better quality. I would like to play with a 144Hz monitor 1080 HD. I have read, that using HDMI from ps4 to a 144 Hz monitor only provides 120 HZ, becuase of the HDMI cable.

I am not sure what to use to solve this problem. I know that the displayport Can provide 144hz, but my ps4 don’t have a displayport.

I thought about using an adaptor, but if i buy a adaptor, will this provide 144hz and not 120 hz? Witch adaptor should i buy?

Not really an issue as the PS4 can only run a maximum of 60fps.

So the pitcuere would not be better running 144 hz becuase the Maximum of 60fps? If i buy another monitor with 1 ms responstime (same as the one with 144hz) but 75 hz, will the pitchure be the same?

I would like to play in better quality, what is best then. Buy a ps4pro and using my tv 1080 100hz or keeping my ps4 and buying a monitor?

A monitor will have less input lag compared to a TV. But at 60fps it's not really noticable.

A PS4 Pro will play many/most games at 1080p/60fps, but without HDR. If you're wanting a better quality picture a 4k HDR TV and PS4 Pro is what to do.
