didnt count today but i probably helped 10 threads with people and their psu issues.

Hey is that new EVGA PSU good? Iv'e never seen it before . Im wondering if i should get it and if its quality over my Raidmax. Im thinking about the Ax 650W but its a refurb. Anyways that PSU has good prices .... Is it any good?

Also that EVGA would not be good either. They are giving a mere 2 years warranty, compare that to 5 years or more warranty on good models. Doesn't even have a 80+ rating. Everyone wants to grab the SFX market.

The AX series is fantastic but if it has no warranty then it is not worth it. I would be surprised since the AX series has a 7 year warranty so I would assume you should get the rest of whatever warranty it has.

Big thanks to Turbo ! He pointed out this amazing power supply. I cant stress this enough man. Thanks ! Thankfully i ordered this PSU and can get off of this Raidmax . Wish me luck.

I just bought Evga GQ series 750w revision3 because it was in tier 1 and then I read some reviews. The ripple is around 60 on the GQ series and I plan to overclock the cpu, gpu and memory. My main components are i7 6700K, MSI GTX 1060 6GB and G.Skill trident Z 3200(2x8GB) CL 14-14-14-34. Full load after overclocking should be 500w which is 67% maximum load.
I read on this thread that high ripple can cause problems for overclocking. Is this GQ model anygood or should I go with Evga G2 or do you suggest something else.
I got GQ for £83 and G2 is £110
Any advice please.

Stick with the GQ power supply, it is way overkill for what you need as your build will draw 300W overclocked, so you are still down in the very tight ripple control zone
