Bose companion 5 speakers. I can't use my Home theatre speakers due to the location of my desk. The bose Companion 5 do a good job creating 3d effects.

Bose MediaMate - They don't deliver the super low bass that comes out of a subwoofer, but they deliver a dynamic range that sound superb across majority of the gaming and music applications out there. Most of the music out there unless you're an audiophile you won't be able to tell the difference between an mp3 ripped at 128kbps and 192kbps, but with these speakers you'll notice. I've had these for a good 7 years and they still do me good.

I've got an external Sound Blaster hooked up to a Class D amp that I built myself, powering a coupler of B&W speakers. I'm thinking of building my own DAC too.

For FPS gaming i use some in-ear headphones though.

Logitech G51, the speakers are beastly, i actually didn't pay for them, got them for free from Blizzard cause i had one of my screenshots make it for the wintervale season. speakers go aling with my g15 keyboard nicely. used to use the logitech x-530, but gave those to my bro.

If i mistakenly leave the sound up, its always a treat for my roommates when i load a game.

I got a pair of OZ Audio 180CS component speakers (msrp is $700 but I got them off ebay for $320). They are powered by my mom's super old Sansui 210 receiver (circa ~1975) which was actually pretty good at the time it was made. I think it's safe to say that nobody has a 2.0 setup exactly like mine. If I had more cash I would upgrade everything and get a subwoofer too. Would also need to get a computer with a proper sound card and a nice FLAC collection if that ever happened though...

Creative labs S750s. 7.1 THX certified. I have it connected to a switch that switches between my PC and a Creative Labs DTS-100 Decoder that has my HD cable box, PS3, 360, and Xbox connected to it and a 52" 1080p TV I use for the monitor.

I wanted (still do to some extent) the Klipsh ProMedia 5.1, but sadly they are no longer made. Ended up going with a basic Pioneer 5.1 home theater setup instead.

i have a small sony home theater system attached to my computer via a TOSLINK cable. I was planning on buying a logitech G51 set, but I wanted to eliminate my big ugly stereo sitting on a bookshelf in my room, so i ended up with a home theater in a box that eliminated my old logitech X-540 and my ugly radio.

A ghetto-rigged hodge-podge of speakers. (Trust me, the words I use don't begin to describe how deplorable my computer speakers are)

Edit: Oh, and a nice pair of Sennheiser headphones. (I know, it doesn't make sense)
