No i wont be running windows 7 tomorrow, i've learned from the past mistakes of running out and grabbing a new os as soon as it comes out. Past experience with windowsME and Windows Vista(shutter) were garabage when they first came out and windowsMe actually never improved. Ill wait a few months.

I trashed XP from my systems some years ago, installed Linux (openSUSE) and never looked back. Safer, faster, easier (everything worked out of the box), no such things as "incompatible drivers", less resource hungry, way more customizable. Security updates literally come in hours after vulnerabilities reports. All this coming completely free of charge. Will never go back down to Windows.

[citation][nom]anonymous23[/nom]WHY? Been running XP for years and not changing anythingOnly losers will be running win7Do u buy a new car everytime a new one comes out? Ie about 10 per month?I still have my old 1995 MX-3 with over 132K miles, not buying a new car any time soon, much less an OS.BTW anyone want to buy a slightly used OS< ie Visat?Thought so, so why buy w7? NO good for me. Will not do anything that XP cant do.SUCKERS Give ur mones to MS[/citation]

I hear that Windows 7 has a better spell check.

Just a thought.

Also already been running it. And I dont have to wait until tomorrow its been released for the last 12+ hours here in NZ. The great thing about living in a different time zone, we get things what seems like a day early :) (It's like living in the future)

It's so nice to be in college. Been running Win7 Pro for quite a while now. I got a new hard drive for my laptop and installed Win7 clean onto it, and my battery life has got up half again. Had a problem with Firefox hanging once in a while, but that's worked itself out. Very pleased with this OS, both looks and functionality.

[citation][nom]doomtomb[/nom]considering that I've been running win 7 for the past 3 months, ya I'll be running it tomorrow.[/citation]

Ive been running RTM for a couple months and had no experiences with bugs at all. This is by far the most impressive windows launch by far.

amazon shipped my preorders yesterday and should be here tomorrow. I am already backing up and getting ready for a clean install. Anything will be better than this vista crap.
