I will buy a i5 6600k, asus z170-e MB, 8gb ram ddr4 2400mhz with a super nice price, so my power supply just has a 4 pin connector for the cpu alimentation atx12volts, and in the motherboard there are 8 pins, i have no more money to buy a new psu, can i just connect the 4 pin connector only?

PD: i will not overclock my 6600k.

thanks.

I would recommend not even attempting it. You could just fry your cpu or best case it will not get enough power and be fairly useless. The risks outweigh the benefits here. Get a good certified psu from seasonic or evga or thermaltake.
