Radeon 7870 Artifacting Problem

I recently purchased a 7870 off of newegg and it has been giving me some issues. While I am playing anything from league of legends to planetside it will artifact occasionally, however the card is not hot when I check it and I have the latest drivers installed (or so it tells me, http://puu.sh/2hLJd I feel like it should say 7870 instead of the generic 7800 series.) Should I try uninstalling the drivers I have now and reinstalling? Or even formating my drive. I also thought that it may just be a bad drive, if this is the case I may still be able to return it.

Hey man I'm having a similar problem with my 7870. My mouse will get distorted and cause my PC to crash. Sometimes when I watch a movie in vlc player the player's screen goes all weird and crashes my PC. Do you have this problem too? Or have you resolved this problem yet?
