Question RAID 10 Size Question

Hello,

I just want to verify that I am doing Maths correctly when it comes to RAID 10.

I have 4 - 2.5 TB SSD hard drives I am looking to run in a hardware level RAID 10 that I believe should total 5 TB as seen by the OS. Is this correct?

I am currently setting up a server that is supposed to run for the next ten years and has some very odd requirements around power budgeting. But one of the requirements is 5TB of SSD storage with redundancy. I figure this would fit the bill the best but open to opinions...

That is a "3.84TB" drive. Not 2.5TB.
So a RAID 10 with 4 of these would be 7.7TB.

How much redundancy and uptime does this need?

Have you budgeted in an actual backup routine?

Usable capacity of Seagate Nytro 1351 XA3840LE10063 2.5" 3.84TB is 3.49TB.
RAID10 from 4 drives will be 6.98TB.

The purpose of this will be a weird PC config. The uptime will be 24/7 indefinitely.
