Hey everyone, I just built my new computer and I've run into an issue with the motherboard only recognizing one of the four ram slots.

I've tried multiple arrangements and have swapped the ram in the working slot to rule out the ram being the issue.

When I've tried other arrangements I keep getting an error/debug code on the motherboard that flashes 4C.

Below is my setup
CPU: 9700k
Mobo: Z390 Taichi
GPU: GTX 1080 G1
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8 16c (3200 MHz)
Cooler: H115i Pro RGB
PSU: Seasonic Prime Ultra Gold 850w

Out of the four ram slots (A1,B1,A2,B2) only the third slot (A2) works.

I was able to install Windows but I'm stuck on next steps. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Can you get into BIOS? If so, inspect which version of the BIOS you're currently on. Have you tried both sticks as individual populators on all slots? Ideally you should be working with slots A2 and B2.

So the only slot that's recognized regardless of which ram stick I use is B1. I've tried all the other slots and I get a 4C code on the motherboard.

With 1 ram stick installed in B1 I can get into the BIOS. I'm on BIOS version 4.00

Thanks
