[SOLVED] Random BSOD about GPU and Memory

Before I bought a new one, my GPU was a Radeon RX 580. Now that I switched, I have a Radeon RX 6600. (I had this problem with the RX 580 too, so I lost money.)

The problem is that Windows 10's randomly does at least 3 times a day a BSOD. All related with memory management and drivers of AMD.
  • To check if my RAM was faulty, I ran several tests with MEMTEST86 and it wasn't.
  • I did a fresh restart to see if it was programs / services / drivers that was making this problem and it wasn't (Waited a little but it came back as soon I installed programs I usually used.)
  • I uninstalled my drivers with DDU and reinstalled many times with different versions and it didn't fix the problem.
It usually occurs when I'm gaming or navigating on any browsers but it also affects my programs.
  • For example, discord reload itself after the UI becoming weird.
  • Opera GX, Chrome or Firefox are crashing too (More often on page with videos like YouTube).
  • My games, Battlefield 5, Rainbow Six Siege, Devour, Phasmophobia and every thing that uses DirectX or OpenGL, will certainly crash one time.
I'm aware that it could be hardware as in my house it's moisty. I'll buy a dehumidifier too help my components. I don't want to pay again for something that isn't the solution.

Here is my computer :

Motherboard: MSI x470 Gaming Plus
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600
RAM: 2x G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3466C16-8GVK (Not recognized by wmic but with AIDA64)
PSU: Thermaltake SMART 650W
NVMe: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 Tb
HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM006-2DM164
Optical Drives: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH20NS10, HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH14NS40
AV: ESET Smart Security Internet

Thank you and I hope somebody has an idea.
If you guys need more information, I'll be happy to provide it to you.

I finally found the problem.

The RAM was overclocked to 3400MHz with the default XMP profile. I changed to 3200 and it seems to works. No BSODs and no program / driver crashes since yesterday.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Thermaltake SMART 650W
That's the first problem. How old is the PSU at this point? You might want to source a donor PSU with at least 650W of power for the entire system. I said donor, meaning one borrowed from a friend or neighbor as opposed to buying one.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? Since you've stated being on Windows 10, what version(not edition) of the OS are you on?

Hi Lutfig, thank you for your interest in my problem.

My PSU is 4 years old. Unfortunately, I don't know somebody that has an extra power supply. I might dig a little bit to borrow one at my place.

The BIOS version is E7B79AMS.AK3. I flashed it lately to test it.

The Windows version is 10.0.19043.
