The title is pretty self-explanatory, the thing goes like this, my PC is not even 1 year old, all my components have updated drivers/bios, and my OS is also up to date, everything is clean, and thermal paste has been changed 1 month ago, so there shouldn't be any problem. But, a few weeks ago I had to move out to somewhere else and I went from living in a house at ground level (summer heat and thick walls were always a problem for my temps), to a 9th floor in a building that's inside a big park (cool as ice and windy as fck haha), I don't know what could have changed so drastically, but now, suddenly my PC is making a soft clicking noise randomly, at first I thought it was something like a thermal expansion of a random component, but this thing persists even if my PC it turned on and running, this noise is so soft and random that I can notice that comes from my PC, but I have no clue WHERE IT COMES FROM, and I'm scared that something is failing and about to burn my whole PC down if I don't get it down at the right time.
I've tried sticking my head inside the case and waiting for the sound to appear, and despite spending hours in this position, I can't seem to find the right spot to look at, there's no visual clue either, like, a weird LED behavior, or "soft sparks" (maybe was a short circuit), there's not bad smell either; tired to move cables, remove parts, clean them and then put everything together again, check for wires interfering with coolers, loose screws, nothing seems to be causing this sound.
I also kept watching all the back ports to see if maybe was the ethernet cable or a random USB failing, and nothing, I tried to unplug them one by one and test, and nothing. I'm paying attention to the performance tab to see if there's a weird spike or activity when the click appears, but everything is okay and there are no spikes. ofc I did some load testing with games and benchmarks and nothing, everything works as it should. I'm kinda desperate to know what else could be because I'm afraid something is frying up slowly and ends up killing other hardware.
PS: it doesn't matter if I'm idle, browsing, or gaming, nothing triggers the click, is just random, it could be 1 click per hour, or two in a row and then silence for a while. I thought about a disk failure (despite being new it could have been faulty idk) but everything seems normal on HDSentinel.
what else can I do? did somebody else have this kind of thing going on randomly? this doesn't sound like a coil whine, I'm constantly thinking about a short circuit or a bad relay on the PSU, but I don't see/smell anything weird, and not a single part of the hardware works badly.
UPDATE: dismantled everything once again, and no, I can't seem to find where it comes from, but I believe it could be the back panel. like something connected like an audio jack or USB that's causing the noise? I've been thinking that it could be like an electricity tension thing. or am I making things up? like, "dirty" electricity could be causing a weird sound inside my PSU? although I took it outside and watched it until the click sound appeared, but no it didn't come from there
