Hello, so yesterday, I bought another evga 970 ftw for a sli build. Now when I went to test this beast on one of the benchmarks (Firestrike) i only got a score of 3.2k. What gives? I scored a 5.5k with just one before. Plus im not seeing much of a difference in game quality for the $380 bucks i just spent. I may be returning this card, if i don't see much improvement.

Be prepared to lose your OC settings if they're BIOS level, though

Couldn't agree more - I think the rig might actually be working and something may be going on with the benchmark - Unless one of the GPUs is just burning electricity for no reason 😛
Unless Aaron Chavez has a UHD (or at least 1440p or a 3x1080p setup) the frame-rate difference may not be noticeable.
Really hard to say for sure, though without empirical evidence.

Lol. Yeah i wonder if he is running 4k and we do not know about it.

Almost want to have him verify his SLI bridge is on correctly, power supply cables on, check to make sure the gpu is not connected to a PCI exp 2.0 port, try the other SLI slots.

My thoughts exactly - hopefully it's just a simple mistake that's causing this - I don't know about you, but I deal with enough SLI BS at home for a lifetime; wouldn't wish it on anyone else XS

Strange, isn't it? Seems like something basic has been missed 😛
