Is there anyway that I can do this on my XP Home Edition With a HP PSC
2355p all in one. My son is the Limited User and he goes nuts with the
printer when I'm not there. I want to stop him being able to use the
printer.
Thank you

The simplist way that I use to stop my kids 'rincing' the ink from my
printer, is I take away the printer cable. Its a pain, I know, but its
the simplest way I have found to stop the little tikes going mad!

Log into safe mode, then right-click on the printer and select Properties.
There should be a Security tab that allows you to deny access to what ever
accounts you require.

The printer can be found in the Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.

I thought of that but it would be a nusiance especially if you have left
the house and wonder did you hide the cable. Then again he may have a spare
cable hidden somewhere.

No joy there William. The printer didn't show up, I checked in the services
and the printer spooler wont run in safe mode. Thanks for the try anyway.
