Question RX 5700 XT or RTX 2070 Super?

Upgradeing my gpu soon and I'm choosing between the 5700 XT an the 2070 super. The cards power is comaparable to each other with the 2070 being slightly stronger, I am also using Nvdia right now, games are more optimized for Nvdia, and I'm more comfortable using Nvdia, but its an extra $100. With the Rx 5700xt it's only slighlt weaker ,and is 100$ less. But I'm less comfortable with AMD, games are less optimized for it , and there have been some reports of it overheating to the point of shutting down during non intensive moments.
I won't be buying for probably another month.

I'd wait for the non-reference 5700 XT models to come out.

The super gets about 10% better fps than the 5700xt and the 2070 cost 25% more. The better deal is the 5700xt. Unless you have to have a GPU today, I would take TJ Hooker's advice and wait till the non reference models are released. They will have better performance, noise, and thermals.
