Question Samsung 990 Pro running at pcie 4.0 x2 instead of x4

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Your motherboard has 2x M.2 slots, which one have you dropped the 990 Evo into? What other devices do you have in your build?

I tried reseating the drive and cpu, 7C56v1J3 and 7C56v1I Bios but no change.
Reflash to the beta version BIOS, then clear the CMOS. In order to do the latter, you disconnect from the wall and display, then remove the CMOS battery, then press and hold down the power button for 30secs to drain any residual power, then reseat the battery after 30mins.

Drive is under the cpu where it should be, i already reflashed bios and cleared cmos a few times to be sure, even took apart a whole build and put everything in again to be sure, m.2 slot pins also look good
