Server problem

i have been having issues with my windows 2008 r2 server and i thought the best thing to do would be go to hear since this is a large community. so i installed server 2008 installed active directory domain services for the domain name which i called cndomain.local. It also installed dns. then i installed active directory lightweight, IIS,wins and some other features to get exchange running too. really the main deal is that for some reason i cant access the domain from a windows 7 computer. i can't from my laptop or my virtualized workstation in hyper-v. i don't really understand the problem because i did the same things successfully on my dell server ??

I hope you're using a *bridged* network adapter w/ that VM.

i have 2 network adapters and one is a dedicated vm so one is for the server and the other one is a microsoft virtual switch
