My current PC Specs are:
i3 6100
8gb ram(2133 Mhz)
Asus GTX 750 TI OC

I am thinking of upgrading to an i5 7400 and a gtx 1660! (My motherboard only supports CPUs till 7th gen! and I am strictly on a budget thats why!)
My question is
Will I get 200+ fps in csgo and 60+ fps in other AAA titles? And Will it be a good choice to go for an i5 7400 in 2020?
If not then pls suggest me a good GPU+CPU combo under 25,000 Rupees (350$)!
Thanks in advance!

Quad core gaming is dead, for new AAA titles, so I wouldn't waste any money upgrading the CPU, in that rig. My big concern, though, is what make/model power supply you have.

PCPartPicker Part List

Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($67.98 @ Amazon)
Memory: GeIL EVO POTENZA 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($54.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: MSI Radeon RX 580 8 GB ARMOR OC Video Card ($141.00 @ Amazon)
Custom: Ryzen 5 1600 AF ($85.00)
Total: $348.97
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Ok so 2133 is way to slow for AMD Ryzen (will cause poor performance and FPS dips) so it needs to be replaced.

Do you have used markets? You may be able to find a Ryzen 1600 for a good price then pair with a B450 board and 3000/3200 memory. With the B450 board it will allow for a overclock which you'll want to do with the 1600 to get the most from it. From there if need be continue to save up for a GPU such as the RX 570 or RX 580.

When replacing the motherboard it will require a clean install of Windows to avoid issues such as poor performance which usually happen at some point due to conflicting motherboard drivers.

IDK What these people on about as if they knew the tech like a real technician?
Here my spec:

Mobo MSI Z270 Carbon gaming
CPU i5 7400
SSD Samsung Evo 860 1TB
RAM DDR4 2x8GB 2133mhz
GPU MSI GTX 1650 super ( Previous GPU GTX 690 Ti )
Monitor Samsung G7 32" 240Hz ( Previous Monitor BenQ zowie 24 " xl2411 144hz )

No bottlenecking.
Playing many game working all fine! CSGO on easily 200+ FPS running at 1080P or below
DOTA2 smooth and no problem at all.
Diablo3 work perfect
Rainbow six work fine
The only problem is abit glitchy not smooth when playing PUGB.
Other big gig new gamings i dont know cos i dont play them DOTA2 already been the main regular game i play for now.

But will upgrade the new PC set once i know what is like for Ryzen 4000 series coming soon later this month or the next. or wait till till 2021 for new intel motherboard and CPU that can hold GEN 4 PCIE for 3000 series Nvidia graphic card.

For future AMD Ryzen 4000s + B550 motherboard.

or Intel 11th Gen + Z570 motherboard that support PCIE GEN4 which likely be next year 2021

First off, this thread is nearly 9 month old, please do not necro old threads.

2nd, those titles you are not having problems with, a potato could run. They are lightly threaded titles. New AAA titles, a pure quad core is going to choke.
