Hi guys, I am trying to troubleshoot video card crashes I've been experiencing for a long time but which are getting in the way of me playing a certain game (Palia) now. Just want to know if this performance is expected for the hardware.

NVIDIA RTX 2070, when benchmarking (Furmark GL @ 1080p) it reached a max temp of 91°C and averaged 31 FPS. Very typical to get 88-91° while playing the game it's crashing on. Supposedly the card exceeds the recommended hardware though?

This is in a laptop (Eluktroniks Mech-15 G3) and the CPU is pasted with Liquid Metal so as a dummy in this field I'm kinda afraid to open it. The machine is 3 years old.

Running Windows 10, drivers of both Nvidia and the integrated gpu are up to date.

Edit:
CPU: Intel i7 8-core 2.3GHz
CPU cooler: Onboard fans (unsure how many)
Motherboard: Eluktroniks MECH-15 G3 Standard
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc N.1.16 11/2/20
Ram: 32GB DDR4 SDRAM
SSD/HDD: SSD 2TB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
PSU: I cannot find this info but it would be 3 years old
Chassis: Laptop
OS: Win 10 Home 22H2
Monitor: Laptop

It's logical that it crashes since you run the furmark and the card reaches its limits + it's a laptop
Advice from me, take it for a cleaning and for a new thermal paste on processor and card
