I think Obama, and the US in general have done a splendid job pulling out of the GFC.

Remember, lax lending laws created the problem In the first place ... along with the Republican era tax cuts that meant the coffers were not getting filled enough to support the spending.

Still ... I'd have cut the spending ... just not to the Tea Party levels where half the population would be wandering the streets.

The level of "debate" in this particular thread hits a new low. Cries to impeach a US President with no explanation of what crimes he has committed that would justify such a move.

Some people eem to have so much trouble with the concept of a non-white president; the mind boggles to think how they will squeal when a woman is elected. 😉

As much as I dislike the man, No I do not think he should be impeached, no I do not think he is going to be impeached. If he is impeached it does not mean he is going to be kicked out of office, he most likely wouldn't even be convicted; making the impeachment a waste of time and resources.
