It is not shipping cost, but legal reasons.

At first you said you were Chinese, but then you talk about Japanese Pandas? Your name also has Japan in it... Something is fishy but I can't lay my finger on it =P

We've already given away everything we have to Africa. If we were to receive it on your behalf, it would finally be a suitable payment for everything we have done for your continent. You're right you probably wouldn't receive it.

It was a contest awhile ago that initially spurred me to create an account and post on articles. The amount of discussion a simple comment can create is great! To bad 75% of comments on here are unintelligent people who think the Crysis joke is still fresh.

Actually, he forgot to put a rule saying I could only enter X amount of times. I already have 57,982,134 entries and you won't be able to catch up!

The point isn't to brag about how much extra money your daddy has to buy you new computer parts.

The point is somebody is doing something nice for someone else.
The point is somebody will now be able to invite their brother/sister/neighbor over to their house and have two good computers to play games with. How many of us build 2 good computers instead of 1 uber-fast computer that only we can play on?
The point is Tom's is trying to gauge how many people there are that read but don't post.

The point is there are lots points as to why they would do this giveaway. Most of us are grateful they try.
 
Nerds might get "lucky" claims popular internet website

Miami, FL-"I just wet myself" thought Vincent Masuka, echoing the thoughts of nerds around the country, as he read through the specifications of the computer posted as a giveaway on popular technology website tom's hardware. "Think about the benchmark scores that this baby will put out...ehehehehehe...put out"

Contestants were asked to offer smart and witty comments about the article as an entry. However, being single men living with their mothers, witty, nonsexual comments were hard to come by...ehehehehehe...hard.
The winning entry was from Deborah Morgan which stated "Ooh pretty lights" and had a link to her Facebook page with her recent beach trip pictures publicly accessible.

Tom of tom's hardware could not be reached for comment.
 
Man I have never won anything like this before, but class/work would sure be a ton easier if I win!

Not a looker type case but the way that its built "Priceless" almost perfection. I mean I want to step up a water setup and the Antec 902 that I have cant handle it "properly". The triple push/pull radiator, with water blocks for the cpu and 2 gpus, and vents on the bottom so that you can flip the psu. To top everything off is the easy access to the fan filters. If you have an Antec 902, like I do, you know the "mission" that is required the clean them. And thats just the case.
The rest of the system:
psu is a staple
cpu is an intel and I wish I could afford the experiance (Never owned 1)
gpu is a best buy-MUST BUY right now!(until SI comes out)
Everything else is pretty much standard for the price that this system sell for. So I give it a B+/A-

If you win this you surely wouldn't be connecting it to your domain at work. Eliminates that benefit of Ultimate.

So you're complaining that you won't have Windows XP mode, Full drive backup, and Bitlocker? (Most of us don't even use the backup feature even though we know better and know we should.)


Or maybe it's the choice of 35 languages that you desire so much.
 
I have always enjoyed reading comments to articles from those more knowledgeable than myself. Especially when those knowledgeable persons share what they know in a helpful, respectful manner. I do not post often because this is not an area of expertise for me. I read a lot to learn and increase my knowledge. I post when I think I can add something constructive to the discussion. I think this is a great way to coax more input from us lurkers. So is the new forum threads on best configs. I am really glad there are many threads that those of us of moderate financial means and moderate levels of expertise can contribute something positive to the discussions!

Haha I am actually Taiwanese. American Born Taiwanese so double wrong but my name initials are J.PAN. I also don't have a middle name, but if I did it would be alexander. Then my initials would be J.A.Pan.
 
I only had enough time left at work to read up to page 8 of the comments. Oh well I guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow at work.

Now how do I clear appointments off my calendar?
