Question Small dent on the underside of the cpu heatsink

I recently bought the parts to build a completely new computer, and today the last missing part arrived, which was the processor cooler (I had already bought one, but had to return it because of an error on the store's website, the cooler wasn't compatible). But now with the new cooler I have a surprise, the box was very badly treated and the cooler came with a small dent in 2 pipes in the part that makes contact with the cpu, apparently the fan connector was under this part and dented in some blow during transportation.

i would like to know if there would be any problem in still using this cooler, i don't feel like waiting another 4 to 5 weeks to return this one and receive a new one. The computer's cpu is a Ryzen 5 7600X and according to some reviews I've seen, it can get quite hot, so I'm worried about the cooler part.

It will likely be fine as is. Mount and test accordingly. If ok, then game on.

4-5 week wait for a replacement - Also bad.

Make sure that the dents are "up" away from the CPU. If the deformation causes a peak or anything that protrudes towards the CPU, that could be a problem.

If the deal was good enough and the damage is slight you could likely file and or stage sand the issue away. Look up "lapping".

What cooler is that?
I don't see any reason not to use it, but I would take pictures at least and send them to the seller. Might let them know your going to try it but if the results are bad you will be returning it.
