Question soft clicking noise coming from laptop. is this a normal sound for a laptop to make?

I dozed off while working and woke up with my asshole cat's paws on the laptop. She jumped up from the floor onto the desk and I guess landed with her front paws on the laptop. I'm not sure if it ever made this sound before and maybe I'm just being paranoid. Can someone please help me? Thank you

It sounds like a hard drives arm moving. If it was a fan hitting a wire it would be consistent like 1234-1234-1234- your getting 1-9-13 on and on. Is this a mechanical hard drive or ssd.

Hi!

It has both. So should I be worried that the hdd is failing or is it just normal operational noise? I haven't had a laptop with a mechanical drive in a while so the noise is kinda freaking me out.
