Hi all,

Sorry for such a common thread but, I just need the components I am looking at getting sense checking before laying out a large chunk of cash.

I've read the related threads, but as PC's move on at such great pace they are a little out of date so your input would be appreciated in looking at what I list below and either modifying or just alieviating my worries, so here goes.

Any help is appreciated, and again, sorry for it being a common topic.

Thanks in advance.

The build seems fine, I guess. My only problem about it is the PSU. I've never heard of Akasa up until now. Just to be safe, I'd grab a Corsair, Antec, or Seasonic PSU instead.

Ok, I've got an Akasa 500W for my home PC which has been going fine for last 5+ years (about time for an upgrade :) )

However, this is the companies money so meh - I'll have a look for an Antec one instead. 😀

I'm viewing the RAM more as a looking to the future purchase and not having to worry. I do a reasonable amount of flow analysis and also photorendering on SW which seems to eat through my current RAM quota (8GB) quite readily
