Question Some Of My Games Keep Freezing Randomly

Some of my games freeze randomly while playing, it can last anywhere between 1 - 10 seconds and may not happen again for 3 minutes or 3 hours.

I tried turning on and off V-Sync and disabling hardware acceleration where I could but it hasn't helped.

I get occasional freezes playing Days Gone, and very consistent freezes on League Of Legends.
But when I have never experienced a freeze on For Honor

I had also tried exclude the games from Windows Defender.

Just experienced a freeze in Days Gone and couldn't see anything in the Event Viewer or in the Reliability Viewer that would be related to it.

I'm at a loss for solutions so any help would be much appreciated!

GPU : PNY RTX 3070
CPU: Ryzen 7 5600x
RAM: Corsair 2x 8GB 3200hz
MOBO: AORUS B550 PRO AC
HDDs: 3x Seagate 2TB Barracuda 3.5" Hard Drive ST2000DMZ08 (1 is the boot drive)
PSU: Corsair CX600M CXM Series 600W (About 7 years old, used just for gaming)

"Some of my games": What games do you play and what games cause freezing?

PSU: Make, model, wattage, age, condition? Heavy use for gaming, video work, or bit-mining?

Drive(s): Make, model, capacity, how full? [3 x 1 TB Barracuda HDD's noted - is one of them the boot drive?]

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for error codes, warnings, and even informational events that correspond with the game time freezes.

You need a new PSU. CX600M is crap for an Ampere card like any groupregulated PSU and PSUs with ACRF or double forward on the primairy.

No ssd must feel like a 12yo pc.

Yeah definitely need an SSD soon, so do you think a new PSU would stop those freezes?

As you say only some of your games are affected i would suggest you load one up that is causing you a problem and lower different graphics and effects settings.

I had tried that but it had no effect on the freezes.
