SP2 Download Time

I have started downloading SP2 - I think!! I responded to
the request to download a few days ago (ie download, but
not install - yet) but the automatic update icon seems to
have disappeared from the bottom right tray of the
screen. This previously showed how far the download had
progressed (and was reassuring it was actually still
happening). I've checked its not hidden in the task bar.
Have I switched the icon off somehow or is the SP2
download so big, Microsoft dont want me to know how long
it will take?? Any help much appreciated

Check if you have a virus protection program running.

If it is running switch it off just for this download.
