I just recently bought a MSI GF 65 Thin 9SD laptop and a Silicon Power 512GB NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen3x4 2280 TLC R/W up to 3,400/2,300MB/s SSD (SU512GBP34A80M28AB) . I tried different ways of seating it including having the laptop literally open and holding it in but I can't get it to seat the best I got it to was to the point where it recognized the amount of space on the drive but I was still unable to initialize it anyone know a solution?? I tried installing drivers to no avail.

Solution
Then whats the issue with it being loose and needed to be held in place with your hand?

Can you link us to a picture of it?
Issue solved Silicon Power SSD's apparently have a really high defective rate (as seen in comments of amazon) and I ordered a Samsung SSD and it worked fine...
