I have a Dell G3 15 3500, my laptop only has 256Gb of storage so I wanted to upgrade. I got an old SSD and used diskpart clean all to wipe it. Still the drive isn’t detected at all, not in bios, not in disk management, device manger, diskpart etc. Out of ideas, I put the drive in the PCIe 1 slot alone and powered on the laptop to enter bios and see if it was there, it was, but instead of being listed in the PCIe slots it was listed in the SATA 1 slot, I'm not even sure if that bad or not. I'm out of solutions, I'm 100% sure the SSD works but only 80-90% sure the PCIe 2 slot works.
