I recently got my first ssd, tomorrow I'm gonna unplug my hdd, mount my ssd and install a clean windows 10 copy, then I'm gonna plug my hdd back again and delete my C partition so I can use the whole disk as a normal storage unit, is that going to work? i do it like this because I don't want to use Acronis or any other cloning software

Solution
I mean I'm gonna select my ssd as my primary boot drive one W10 is installed
During the install, have only ONE drive connected, the SSD.

Later, reconnect the other one.
As long as it is verified booting from the SSD, you can wipe the HDD completely.

As long as the boot order is correct, yes. This will work.
