I have a Gigabyte H61M-S1 motherboard with Intel G630 processor. When the monitor is connected to the vga port on the motherboard the PC boots properly. But when connected to the VGA port on Zotac GT 610 2gb graphics card, the display is stuck at Gigabyte bios options and the pressing any key on the keyboard doesn't select any bios options. Please guide what do I do?

I removed the cmos battery for an hour and then reinserted the battery. Then removed the graphics card and connected the monitor to the onboard VGA port. Pressed Del to enter bios setup. Then under bios features, changed PCI ROM priority to legacy ROM. Saved settings and exited. Then connected the graphics card and it worked. I could enter bios and also boot to windows
